Miss Shelbi
Teacher
Hello! My name is Shelbi, and I am going into my 10th year as a teacher! I am a licensed elementary and special education teacher for students in grades K through age 22. I also hold a TESOL/TEFL certification, allowing me to support English language learners.
Throughout my teaching career, I have had the opportunity to work with a wide variety of students and grade levels. I spent four years as an in-person special education teacher and one year teaching first grade. After welcoming my first baby, I made the decision to stay home with my growing family. Since then, I have been blessed with three wonderful children and have spent the past four years teaching online. During that time, I have worked with students in grades 1–8, supporting learners with a wide range of abilities and learning styles.
Teaching has been my passion since I was a little girl, and I truly love what I do. There is nothing more rewarding than helping students grow in confidence, discover new skills, and celebrate their successes.
When I'm not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my husband, our three kids, and our two dogs. We love being out on the water in our boat or making memories together in our backyard.
I am so excited you're here, and I can't wait to begin learning together! It's going to be a wonderful adventure!
